As research professionals dedicated to the precise execution of clinical trials, Wake Research has a unit dedicated specifically to Phase I trials: Carolina Phase I Clinical Research. This Early Phase Unit has the resources to conduct inpatient and outpatient studies with healthy volunteers and with special volunteer populations (e.g., diabetic, geriatric, obese, pre- and post-menopausal, etc.) This Wake Research facility specializes in clinical research in the following therapeutic areas:
